dean25 Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 it's x2 so 200mhz =
i_lag Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 it's x2 so 200mhz = 400 604209 yes, the manual is saying the total speed in mhz, and the bios is saying the speed of one of the sticks in mhz
Nadger Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 yes, the manual is saying the total speed in mhz, and the bios is saying the speed of one of the sticks in mhz 604248 Hense the term DDR. Double Data Rate. Thats where the x2 comes from...so in other words, theres nothing wrong with what it says. 200mhz = 400 ddr
Ste Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Lol, this has to be the funiest post Ive seen in awhile. No Offense. Yes, each stick operates at 200MHz, but they do double that in a single beat of the system timer. Hence Double Data Rate, just like everyone else has said.
