Csi: Dead Computer?

Recommended Posts

Ok here's what happened:

I left my computer on overnight. My brother comes down to use it but the screen is just showing "No signal" on it. So he shuts it off. He tries to turn it back on and the screen is still "no signal". The comp doesn't post, there are no error beeps. I've checked all the external and internal connections, I just don't get it. Any help is greatly appreciately.

Unattach everything but RAM, Video card and CPU. Also: if you don't have an overclock and don't mind resetting the time along with any other changes youve made in CMOS you can reset it.

Then try rebooting. If it boots successfully add attach items to it until it doesn't boot. Try one at a time.
