You will need to manually mount them in /etc/fstab sudo gedit /etc/fstab currently, it would seem that you mounted them (or automounted them) with read permissions for root only. Godda agree with that, my wireless network worked right out of the box (errr right off the ISO!! ) The updating is ALOT better than in FC.
