IUMaestro Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 sorry i have to say it - you have no life if you have a conversation like that with somebody haha. if that was CEO vs CEO maybe, but that's just like getting pissed at my friend cause he likes McDonalds over Burger King... since McD's is the Intel of fast food. who cares, buy what you like.. Kamikaze_Badger Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 (edited) So you egged him on into a debate, showing that you're both idiots? LMAO at his remark about the 9800 Pro! My Ti4200 plays CS at 75 FPS, yes, but dude... it is RAPED by my brother's 9800 Pro. Both of you are close minded . Uber Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 no offence but im siding with your buddy, not to get on yourbasd side, but ill take any Nvidia card over an ATI.
Ziggy54354 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 7800GTX 512mb > 1800XT 9800pro runs cs faster than ti4200 9700-9800 series was the last awesome thing ati made, everything after has kinda been on par or under nvidia. so both of u guys are wrong in ways oh and by the way the x1800XT is really overpriced. I get them at work for like $470. I dunno why there is such a high margin on newegg. The prices for the nvidia cards on newegg are about the same as what i can get them for at work. SLI. Crossfire, they both had their time, although Nvidia is at the top at the moment. this could change, but who knows intel could stomp AMD next week (not) but maybe, we are ever guessing, and at the moment Nvidia holds the crown. Nothing more, I wasent trying to persuade him that loyalties arnt the best thing to do.. Frankly I dont support ATI or Nvidia, Ive owned more ATI cards then nvidia but I have never showed a real dislike for nvidia cards. Frankly they are all good cards, and they will play the games to their fullests.
Kamikaze_Badger Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Ah, for a moment, I thought you were an ATI fanboy. Sorry . Anyway, you're forgetting about the budget card market. The X800GT and GTO both dominated the 6600 and 6600GT series.
General912 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Well right now i am sorta... Before the x1k line I was seriously considering a 7800... I dont know right now it seems like the GTX is more afordable and that I am getting my money out of the card because there is more information about it and more people have had a chance to try one...
