LoArmistead Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Well my 3000+ Palermo would get up to about 2.35Ghz, the only thing stopping me was air temps . I was using semi-crappy "Centon" RAM too, so, all other factors aside, those 754 Semprons are great OCers.
tbone2sk Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 If it is your dads comp and has value ram, why would you overclock it?
GuJuMaN89 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 just to see how high it can go, but the stupid thing wont go above 225FSB. is the it ram? what timings sholud i set it to? i think stock is 2.5-3-8-
cchalogamer Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 The Palermo core OCs very will with little voltage, friend of mine's 2600+ hit 2.4ghz (1.6ghz stock), stock cooling and minor voltage boost, just have to run a divider with bad ram. His would have doen more, but that got it to about 50C load in his hot room and that's where the board maxed that was completely stable (300htt baby).
