Hi. I am going to upgrade my hard drive in my fujitsu notebook. Now i really am leaning towards the 7200 rpm hard drive but im starting this thread to ask others if its worth the money to invest as far as performance from video game loading times. I want my games to start faster but right now i have a 60 gig 5400 rpm. What do you think?

The biggest disadvantages to getting a 7200RPM drive for a laptop would be the sound and heat. Since it spins faster, it generates more noise. Another side effect of faster spinning is increased heat. So if you're willing to tolerate higher temps and more noise, then go for it. Otherwise, stick to the 5400RPM drive
