Can you provide any justification for your claim?
Kamikaze_Badger Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 The RIAA knows that people aren't going to stop with P2P. They're resorting to lawsuits and other stuff like this, and have been. It's the usual "scare them out of it" tatic that's been used by some people to get kids to behave (Boogeyman, Hell, etc). However, while people still market music, they will still exist. But they won't be as well known.
Fireonice Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Music artists are making more and more money every day... Music compains, people who work for them, ect are NOT losing ANY money!!! For the millions, mby billions of songs that are out there on the net music people arnt loseing a cent... And in all reality there just rich greaty bastards. And i concider to say and agree that almost all of the people dling music arnt going to buy the spit artists put out... I mean look at green day, other artists, the music they put out is crap and im sure as hell not going to buy the cd just so the compains, people, ect can get richer and promote the crap music. I might dl a song or two just to hear it but you will NOT see the cd in my collection...
Kamikaze_Badger Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 P2P resulted in an increase of CD sales too, I believe. I know that I spent $15 of my hard earned cash on a Happy 2B Hardcore CD once, just because I had heard it on MP3's I had downloaded. Archerzz Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 What I dont understand is why they attack the small fry why go after a person who has downloaded 5 or 6 songs as opposed to the person who is suppling other with 5000+ it does not make sense to me. F the RIAA!
