That and you can't just put freon in your computer. You have to have the compresser, radiator, fans, time, power, energy. Not only if you mess up but if someone finds out that you have freon and not licensed you'll get in big trouble, and you can't just pour freon into something.

Freon is too dangerous, pricy, and not something you want to use in the average PC. There are some processors out there that suffer from a "cold lock" and won't boot at the temps that freon puts out (-128C being it's lowest boiling point).

You have no idea what you're talking about here.

Freon is a gas, and you can get in deep . for just playing around with it. When working with ANYTHING like that, you treat it with respect. You don't play around with it, you treat it with more respect than anything else. Why? Because it could cost you your life.

You would need a phase change system, which can run you a few hundred dollars, to use it, anyway.

It can be done on the cheap. It looks real ghetto but.... Price of the refrigerant varies tremendously. R22 is still less than $100 per 30lb container. 134a is around $225. Now what will really set you back is the tools to do the job. A manifold set around 130, Torch and gas 325, Recovery unit 700 and up, Vacuum pump about 300, recovery tank 75.

What you are wanting is a phase change setup. Which will run you $450+. A prebuilt like a vapochill will run you $850+ and a custom unit like the one I have(chilly1 built with r134a gas) will run you around $500.

You can also go into a garage that service carAC and ask if they can fillit up.They'll run a leak check and fill it like any other AC unit with the new whatthamacallit gas they use these days in cars

Of course they'll charge you the same amount too loll
