Kaos Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 (edited) Almost forgot about a key component of the new rig! Looking around at sound cards, it seems that the Audigy2 ZS OEM has great bang-for-the-buck, and is recommended by lots of folks here. Just thought I'd check and see if there's anything else in its price range I should consider. Basically $75-80 or less is my sound card budget. Anything that's priced higher than that, I can pretty much guarantee that I either won't use all the features it has, or that I won't even be able to hear the difference anyway. It'll just be driving a set of 4.1 Altec Lansing speakers. Edit: Well, zzf had a rebate going on it, so for $40 after rebate, I had to pick it up. So kindly disregard this thread. Edit, Yeah the mystique is cool, but i'd still reccomend the Audigy 2 ZS. Its kinda buggy.
