Andrewr05 Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 IT IS -2 DEGREES CELSIUS OUTSIDE I was bored so I went into my shed and made a extremely ghetto laptop cooler!!!! It consisted of an AC Air Pump/Blower, which had it's 1.5" diameter hosing ran through the side of a bucket. The end of the hose was then duct taped to a funnel which was duct taped to the rim of the bucket. The laptop was then placed on top of bucket with the funnel completely covering the cpu inlet. END RESULTS: 28 DEGREES CELSIUS--IDLE 32 DEGREES CELSIUS--RUNNING CPU ARITHMETIC BENCHMARK AND CPU MULTI-MEDIA BENCHMARK--BACKTOBACK Im not an expert but I would assume thats not bad? Total time the air pump was on was probably 2-Mins I could have just left it there and seen how low it would have gone but I was f*&%ing cold so I went inside.
