oblivescence Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 if we had edible glasses, we wouldnt have this problem, because we could just eat the glass till it is full again.
i_lag Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 If it's 0*F outside and the weather dude says it'll be twice as cold tomorrow, what will the temperature be tomorrow?AAAAAHHHHHHH????~~~!!!!!So confusing! 589818 it will be -32*F (and the glass is half full, cuz im an optomistic kinda guy)
Byron Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 To the optomist, the glass is half full.To the pessimist, the glass is half empty To the engineer, the glass is twice as large as it needs to be. 589862 and to add to that. If your in the matrix, there is no glass
Kamikaze_Badger Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 I'm In The Matrix? Or I'm in the Matrix, referring to only the matrix as a noun? Sorry, just had to point that out.

Anyways, for the weather man q: The weatherman is 'mentally challenged', and no one knows what the temp will be tomorrow.
mantonr Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 it depends what is in the glass! is it solid is it liquid? is it a form of gravel? will it be used in a sacrificial context?
OptikaliLLusion Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Solids move, just not really... the particles just sit there and shake around.
NinjaDude Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 The Glass is THE ONE...... ITs neither half empty or half fulll....it is both... u choose what u want..
hockeyrcks9901 Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 gunak for the 0*F you use formula to make it celsius and then multiplay by 2 Actually to double a temperature you have to convert it into kelvin. To get from F to K, you have to convert F to C and then add 273. So we now have 255K...we mulitiply by 2 and get 510K. We now convert K back to F and get: 458*F... So, if it 0*F and he says the temp will double tomorrow, it is going to be 458*F... If the weatherman ever says the temp is going to double we all need to run and hide... Mr_Yuck Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 (edited) The optimist: Half full Pessimist: half empty opportunist: drinks water cynic: predicted that opportunist would steal his water idealist: insists there's more water to be found realist: washes the glass. I'm the opportunist...now it's completely empty Edited December 5, 2005 by Mr_Yuck
