Propane Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Tonight me and a friend went and built a camera mount out of wood and glue :buttrock The results are good, it just gets sandwhiched in between the passenger headrest and seat. Here are some picture Camera on the mount: The slot that goes on the headrest part: The bolt (on the underside): The bolt (on the top): The little rubber bands on the bottom are from braces and it acts as padding, the padding on the top in between the wood and the camera actually comes from the underside of the carpet in the BMW, it was falling off of mine so I deleted it. The block of wood on the top is to correct the angle of the camera so it dosent just show the sky (not good:redspot) and the block is glued on with elmers multi purpose glue. Its pretty awesome:alright Here is a short video we made with it... video (you can right click save as if you really want to...). my car was cold so I didnt push it too hard (and by not hard I mean, not at all). If there is enough intrest I can write up a DIY for all you. Total cost: $0.14:)
