Psychotic_god Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 (edited) Ok, so I found these lights in my garage and I was like "I bet I could do something with those" The top lid could be taken off as shown below. Skipping long story, I was able to find some colored glass and got a friend to cut them down to size, I then got some aluminum and got him to put in some shapes. Put it all together .....and voila! Did the same for the other And....... After messing around with my colors and shapes, I found this combination to be the best for my setup. So what do you guys think ? Pretty sweet huh? Psychotic_god Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 looks really good!!! i like your combonation of colours. very sweet B:) 588568[/snapback] Thanks. The color thing is cause it has this thing where when the light comes off at a certain angle its one color, but if it comes at another angle, its another color. Theres two colors on each glass which makes a sweet effect. Can't wait to finish my setup; a new room paint job, my speakers set up, my monitor in place, ect.... Blue_cow Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Where would you be shipping them from? And, of course, how much would they cost for a set of say...
Tomatosauce Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I've seen the same lights in the lighting section of Lowes and Home Depot. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=prod...WH-I&lpage=none Yeah they're white, but they're cheap Just dont put them IN your comp because halogens get VERY hot for their size. Thos lights are made to go inside track lighting recessess or under cabinets and shelves ETC... Looks cool though!
