My Weak Link?

Ok... I think my specs show what I have..

XP2000+ , gigabyte GA-7VAX board,

512mb pc2700 DDR (soemtimes I have 768Mb in the board, 256Mb at PC2100 and 512Mb at PC2700, but I pull the slower DIMM when this problem happens..

Plenty of cooling (case temps at 30 or 31 and CPU at 44c at full load (running F@H for hours on end)

I'll bump the FSB just a bit at a time and by the BIOS once I get past about 138FSB the AGP bus speed automatically bumps up from 66 to 67, 8. or 69..etc....

I run F@H no prob, but as soon as I run something graphic intensive like run a 3dMark2001 or my F1 racing game (I am Fast at Monoco!) my system will lock up.... Power button is the only fix..

I am guessing my weak link is my vid card..

ATI All in wonder 7500..

Any thoughts on these issues???

well if your grafics card, locks, the card hangs.. it could be you could get the system back in windows, but you wouldn' t see that annymore, because the card doesn't gives info to the screen, so it ll reamain.. so you noticed, reboot is the only thing you can do. i would try ocing your card not as high as you have now.. looks like you OCed some things a little to hard ;)

this issue happens at very low OC speeds...

stock is 1666 as soon as I get over 1700Mhz.. it starts happening...

and I have not OC'd the card itself......

Thanks

mhz..

well in that case..

are you shure you give it enought voltage?

memory OCed? memory voltage?

temps?
