CoolMaster Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 on my everest it's reading 40c for my cpu and 28 for my "CPU diode" which i finally figured out is inside the core? is that normal, shouldnt the core be hotter? btw are those good temps? oralpain Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 (edited) Ignore the plain CPU temp on everest. Just look at diode. Also, "CPU diode" on everest is not the on die temp, its the heatspreader temp (tCASE), atleast with the DFI mobos I've used. 28C is quite normal for an idle venice tCASE temp.
