Sainou-Kun Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 About a few weeks agao, i was trying to oc my processor and it wasnt working. Somehow in that process windows eneded up deleteing its self and I lost everything. After loseing everything I tried to recover my . useing a program called stellar phoenix. It couldent find anything. So after giving up, I wanted to reinstall windows to my 120 and not my 80, But for somereason I couldent reinstall windows onto it. It would format, but I couldent write files to it. So I formatted to my 80, with np... and now i can write files to my 120.. Any ideas on why I cant install windows to that drive and why I cant recover my files? Note now that I installed xp pro to my 80... i can write files to my 120. Ste Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 If you do not have proper locks or settings in place to protect a HD from being OCed with your CPU speed the HD can be damaged, happened to me.
