romeo55 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) Well i recently done some work and while i'm on a tight budget i have the most overkill cooling out there here what's going on CPU cooled by Cooler Master Hyper 6 (2x80mms) Casefans (2x80mm front+ 2x80mm rear+2x80mm on top and side) RAM=Intel stock 4000 rpm CPU fan (look closely at pic, it ontop of ram ) Video Card= (stock cooler + ANOTHER Intel CPU 4000rpm fan ) Top of video card+chipset= 1x80mm fan (directed sideways at chipset ) PSU= (2x80mm fans) So that all in all makes 14 fans... Keeps myentire compooter pretty darn cool B:) BTW: Any suggestions? EDIT:... forgot to count my vid card cooler fan... that makes 14 Edited November 10, 2005 by Crazy_Dude
HogDog Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 That thing must be really really loud, mine has 10 fans and I think i'm going deaf in one ear. Looks good though.
Guest Flashstar Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I rigged all of my fans onto the Abit fan control utility so that my computer is fairly quiet now.

DECwakeboarder Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I've got 7 right now, including a 120x38mm Panaflo that's louder than crap...I'm going to cut a blowhole (big as I can fit), a 120 sucking up from the bottom, and probably an 80 in the side sometime soon. tazwegion Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 With 14 fans... wouldn't you need to bolt that sucker down so it doesn't take off? Personally... I've only got 7 on my main rig
Psychotic_god Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Just don't put fans too close to each other, I've put fans next to each other and stuff in the past thinking that together they would be even more powerful, but they just fight each other. Use the overclockulator in the "occ downloads" to see if you have a good balance and intake/outake.
