i'd suggest the xp-120 or si-120 just because you can get a 120x38mm fan with the same airflow or more than a 92mm tornado on full speed... the 120mm fan will be a soft soothing sound compared to the intensely brain-piercing sound of the tornado on full... sure you can turn the tornado down, but with a 120mm x 38mm panaflo h1a (108cfm) you don't have to turn it down at all :)

Allright man thanks alot im going to put my order in tonight what is your opinion on which will benfit me more im going to get a panaflo fan thanks for tellin me that. decision between xp 120 or si 120 and your the opteron king in my eyes so do you think i may hit 3.0 on my opteron even though i have never really overclocked before i have a DFI LP NF4 Sli-DR pretty sweet looking board too i love it and what RAM would you possibly suggest man. Sorry if i kinda took over your thread but i want to compete soo badly i want some addiction dang INTEL tehy suck.

oh something to watch out for, apparently the new panaflo design (because panaflo fans are made by nbtmat or someone now) is a solid cornered one that requires modding to work with the thermalright clip system... not hard... i'd use a hacksaw... you just have to cut out the columns at the corners...

even with the possibility of having to do that, they're still the best fans imo... really great airflow without being loud...

might take you a while to get to the high clocks if you've never oc'd before... the board is complex, but will be in your favour in later stages... if you don't mind cooling your ram then some mushkin redline, ocz vx, or geil one bh... if tccd then gskill pc4800ff, 4800LE or geil one tccd... those would all be 2x512, for 2x1 then crucial ballistix tracer something or other lol...

Thanks man no ive done that mod to some other old school 120mm fans i had laying around for a friends comp so that im not worried about.

Yes im worried about complexity on this board ive been with my MSI and 3.2 p4 for to dang long. I want some addiction now yay. As for ram im going to stick with 2x512 no need for 2 gigs. Now will the over hang of the 120mm base mess with the spacing of the ram at all i noticed the slots are pretty close to the base. That si 120 makes me wonder with it not being solid but it looks sweet and them heat pipes are cool. But that over hang will it be enough to cool my ram or am i going to need some more direct cooling. If you dont mind can you copy some links over for RAM im the biggest newb when it comes to that part thanks hardnrg you have been very helpful in everything. Ill copy over some things ive been looking at in a few minutes.
