The Better Mobo?

Which motherboard would be better for a n00b to use in their first build and there voyage into overclocking????

im leaning torward the MSI one, because I have heard they are n00b friendly.

Definitely go with the MSI, especially for a beginner. As for the Asus board, well, I guess we can ignore that indiscretion seeing as how you obviously don't know that they suck (why else would you be asking this question if you didn't?) :P

The A8N-SLI is one of Asus's better boards, so there is no need to diss Asus 100% of the time dear Padawan. If was another single PCI-E or AGP board other then the K8V-X, my statement would be different.

 

But anyways, the Neo4 has better overclocking potential with 1:1 ratios compared to the A8N-SLI.

Hey, I own two Asus boards myself (thankfully they're both pre-A64 boards). I know the Asus he linked to isn't the worst board on the planet, but he asked for one that would overclock well, and from my experience and from what I've read, MSI beats the Asus hands down in that respect.
