From Novel to Microsoft

Well we are getting rid of Novell here at my school, and I am one involved in the change, I voted for linux, but no one wanted to go with that but me...so windows it is, we have almost 4 grand in it so far, and the software to convert from novell to microsft is licenced by novell and has a heffty price tag on it, nor is it in the budget, anyone know how to do this without having to add each computer, user, domain, ip, dir, user access level by hand, let alone all the computers that have to have novell removed and domains set up and ip's logged.
