Currently using Windows 2000

With a DVD Drive

and a DVD Burner

Latest version of Nero

When we play music off cd's it's jumpy and poor quality.

That goes for both drives.

Thats the 1st problem, Whats causing this?

Hardware, Software?

2nd problem

The DVD Burner wont burn

Could be faulty so looking for ideas to try later

Any help is fully appreciated :thumbs-up:

Isnt there a way of setting mp3 as higher priority?

It doesnt jump if copied from the cd to the computer.

Only jumps when played directly off the cd

windows 2000 is for business while ME is for home users. think of 2000 as xp pro and ME as xp home.

For your first problem, check the cable that goes from CD rom drive to sound card or sound connector make sure its not damaged and properly connected.
