Aquamark3 Score On My 7800gt Co

I just received a score of 88,723 on Aquamark3 i am new to this benchmark and wonder how it stacks up to other systems similar to mine.

I"ve saw people breaking 100k before, back in teh 6800 SLI heyday.

 

My 6600GT puts out 60k stock when my AMD3000+ is running at 2.7 Ghz

i got 62k in aq3 with my 6800Gt stock and 65k oced to ultra

well to answer your question thats about right.

 

i get 70k everything stock *lots and lots and lots of windows tweaks *

Just ran it and got 80,455 with everything at stock settings and speeds.

i guess aq3 is more cpu intense and the points dont add up as much for the gpu

I'm on a budget and I am thinking of buying the Clawhammer skt 754 3700+, I noticed you're the only one that has one, I was wondering what do you think of it, are you satisfied by it (performance wise, not how far u can push an OC).

thats about right i have almost the same setup but you oced a bit more and im at 83500. i noticed its veryy cpu related. my scores raise even for gpu when i oc more

Somebody with more time then i shoudl test with different RAM dividers to see if its more CPu or RAM limited. I'm guessing the thing has a massive memory footprint which is why normal OCing give it better scores..

good score......Remember that AQ3 is very bandwidth intensive so high HTT + tight timings nets you the most points.

i got a 67k but im running on some cheap memory and my processor doesnt seem to rate high with benchmarks.
