DrAwesomePhD Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 (edited) hi, so ive got a linux server without a gui and i want to overclock the CPU in it. Is there any way i can test to see if its stable? Does anyone know of a program or some way of telling if its stable / a successful overclock? NCC10281982B Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 One word: bios. U don't need clockgen or anything like that. I think prime95 may have a linux version and I know U can run folding.
Kamikaze_Badger Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 He said test the stability, not overclock directly. I would recommend doing program compiling and stuff... but thank Google for this: http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/6691
computergee Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Im not sure if this will work, but it seems to be for linux and it has no gui. You should beable to run it from a command line. http://linux.softpedia.com/get/System/Diag...uburn-1407.shtm
