Use DVD-Ripper to turn the file to AVI

Here is a guide that will explain how to convert your AVI file to DVD file. With this one you will use DivXtoDVD and DVD Shrinkif your file is bigger than the 4.3g limit.

Use DVD Decrypter to burn to DVD unless you have Nero.

Im guessing you want this on dvd? :)

avi2dvd is the best option... an intermediate conversion to AVI as well as a dvd shrink afterwards is kinda silly

avi2dvd does this, amongst other things...

WMV -> DVD files (the right size)

Hmmm...testing avi2dvd and it is weird...

I took several smaller WMV files and put them together in one compilation in Windows Movie maker...

Saved as a WMV file... plays fine the whole way through....

but when I use avi2dvd...it converts it all to a DVD (wish the menu system was better)

but there is only sound for the first 2 or 3 minutes then silence for the rest of the dvd......

and I tried to import the DVD into tmpgenc DVD Author to try and put in better chapters and a menu...and it only imports the part with sound.....

meaning it only imports 2 or 3 minutes of my 49 minute movie.....

Weird

Any ideas?
