Gir Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 $64.35 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...82E16813136147R how would this and a sempron go together, do these overclock as good as the newer boards?
Ste Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 IT should OC fine, Ive heard semprons are great Over clockers and on a DFI board its even nicer however. I stronly suggest you don't ever buy anything refurbished, you don't know why it was returned and what could still be wrong with it. (Yes 2,300 Posts, I can finnaly sleep.) Guest FxXP Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 A lot of people are returning DFI's because they don't have enough experience with a BIOS to command the motherboard. They don't run right out of the box, you have to play with the BIOS settings to make them work.

Encrypted_God Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 As a DFI mobo user I can vouch for the Genie bios options. They're so many Overclocking options in there! It is overwhelming at first. I have to admit; I bought this Mobo back in 4/19/2005 and I have just recently got ALL settings right at there "sweet spot". Took me since then to really understand and get to know this Mobo. I have spent mamy hours messing around with Genie . Compared to my previous Mobo wich was a Asus A7N8XE-Deluxe. But yea...I have had no problems with Mobo yet (knocking on wood).
