Hmm, looks liek a cooler master case (not sure if you posted, haven't been here in a while :() Almost looks like the Stacker with a bit of a mod on the side panel and front panel power button things, what case is it? Nice work though, really looks good!

all the threads i started in looking for answers and various related projects can be found in order here. I'm EDITING the FIRST POST to include the links to my whole project on these forums beginning to end.

Centurion CM5. not the stacker. the side window was thin and a bit buffed over to begin with...and the fasterners holding it on were plastic with chrome leaf....cheeeeep. so i bought a polycarbonate 11x7 piece, drilled out holes to align withthe door and some stainless hex-hed bolts and nylon lock nuts. and bolted that glass on....SOLID now. and the hex bolts look MUCH nicer. the power button was untouched. the power light and HD light are both blue...almost TOO blue. the lower fan was just a drop in replacement, but the top one was a little bit of work. youll see a pic of what i did in the case gallery. i titled it "hateful exercise in patience and packaging" i learned tho that make sure everything fits the way you want it to first...THEN paint the inside....cause if you paint first...youll screw up the paint!

i got allmy fast as performance pc's.com www.performance-pcs.com and there you picik the fan it it comes sleeved in YOUR CHIOCE OF COLOR and your choice of heatshrink color too! allmy fans wer teh ANTEC 3-speed fans...comes with a little tiny switchbox to pick 3 RPM settings...the highest one makes them just somewhat audible.

i'd doit dude...pick a nice blue one thats not too loud like those antecs and work it in there. its 1/2 inch thick so check for clearances too.
