Will the x800xl run ok on an Antec 430W PSU? now i know that i should upgrade to A64 but i would have to buy mobo, cpu, psu, and video card to upgrade completely or i can just buy a X800XL. $1k+ vs. $252.... I was gonna get this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814125186 Would i have to format my hard drive because of the new card? i was hoping that since its also ATI that i could just use driver cleaner....thanks! the_brink Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 just stick with your old system and upgrade your vc. the 430W power supply should work just fine. for your drivers just uninstall your old driver and put the new one on(it's really easy to do) . Depending on which A64 board you go with you might want to look into a better psu(24pin atx connecter 30+amps on all 3 rails) I use this one.
