What Are We?

I mean it's kinda a weird question, U know people will call us nerds,dorks,geeks..........What exactly defines us as what

 

When i think of nerd I think of bookworm, a dork is just someone who is annoying, and a geek I think of computers, GLAIVEN HALO 2

 

but seriously what are we ?

 

Not that it's bad being a geek or whatever, It makes us who we are.? but what are we really now

 

Just a question to ponder

 

 

AND SERIOUSLY I GOTTTA ASK, I looked in the OCC newbs member section and everyones like WATCH OUT FOR THE LLAMAS, I NEVER understood that, and Ive been here for a decent amount of time. What is with the LLAMAS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH(goes crazy)

We're not all the same here, so I don't think one word can possibly do us all justice. If anything, I'd say folks around here fit into the "geek" category.

BTW: my wife calls me a nerd and when she sees me on the computer she always says "are you talking to those nerds again?"

I was planning on making a new topic a little later but this caught my eye so I might as well explain it here... Yes, I was the one to start the warning "Don't touch the llamas"... It's no holy grail story but it is the truth... Until now, only Phil knew, I won't get into why as it isn't a big deal but what follows is "THE LEGEND OF THE LLAMA"

 

At one point when I was a kid, me and my friends were in camp and we went to a petting zoo. It was nice and everything, they even had pony rides and all. At one point we came across to see llamas, they looked nice and all until **cue scary music** the petting! ** end scary music.

 

We went in line to pet the llamas and it seemed alright until my turn. I was behind and to the side of the llama and pet what I guess was its butt a little to hard only to have it give me a swift kick in the beanbag with its hind leg. Not alot of fun I assure you... The reason I say not to touch the llamas on the board is to warn n00bs not to mess around with things they don't understand until they learn about it. I was warned only AFTER the kick that you shouldn't sneak up behind a llama... it scares them...

geek is both a derogatory and complimentary term... nerd and dork are pretty much derogatory all the time...

lol, I prefer geek, went over to girl(wish I didn't need this space)friend's house and the first thing I did was pick up a copy of pcworld...definitly called me a geek, but gave me that little "I really want to make out with you but I've got a b/f" kinda grin.
