This is a simulated stock market competition. Everybody gets 50,000 fake dollars to start and can invcest in stocks. This will go from next Monday (9/22) until February 14, 2006 (kinda sweet <3). To join the competition, go to http://game.marketwatch.com and register. In the join competition section of the site, you can join.

The info:

Competition ID: BBP
Competition Name: Bytes, Bits, and Politics/OCC Competition
Competition Password: bbpolitics

Have fun with this.

edit:

I have decided to post prizes to encourage people to participate!

1st place - $15 paypal
2nd place - $10 paypal
3rd place - $5 paypal

These prizes are subject to change.

wow this is one of the coolest little games I've ever played.

hmm.. I'm already in a competition right now. Not sure if I feel like putting effort into both. We shall see... and if I do.. you're all going down.
