alechko88 Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 i found a review that compares an INTEL and an AMD, now the new thing here is that they didnt take stock speed cpu's and compared it tha=ey took 2 cpu's and clocked them the same what i mean is they made the same clock by making 18(multiplyer)*133(fsb) both cpus so they work at the same speed. check out ur selves http://www.ocaddiction.com/reviews/cpu/2.4_showdown/

xpandapuss Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 OH NO...NOT AGN.... There is no denying that AMD has a faster processing architecture--at a comparable clock speed--but they have nothing to show presently that can compete with Intel.... The "if I had a big brother he would kick your @ss" theory applies here......
alechko88 Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 no body said that if there was a 3.0Ghz athlon that AMD would be the absoulute best! what try to say is tha when u compare an AMD 2000+ and a P4 2.26Ghz then u get almost same results( my friend has one and we had a bet.... guess who won 50$!.......... yey go AMD) but the athlon costs like a half of the P4!
