Ocing My Sandy...

ok ive oced my comp to 2.6 and runing at 32 idle and 38 load

got 11x236.89 and still at 1.4v

have been runing it for about 12 hrs now stable. is this a pretty good overclock for what i got?

i have a 3700 sandy and 1gb of ocz el rev ram

yeah thats a pretty good OC, especially for the vcore. Up it to 1.5 and you can hit 2.8 with that baby.

I have my sandy at 2.625ghz with a 1.41 vcore....I can't seem to get past 238x11. Let me know if you hit the same wall.

would try 1.5vcore but dont want crash, dling americas army right now, seem to toped out at 238x11 like u :/

im runing about 32idle 37load with a gigabyte (but that was my first time putin on arcticsilver so i could have put to much or to lil or somthing so maybe a bit high.

I was running at 39c full load this afternoon and the ambient temp was about 85, it was pretty warm in my computer room, lastnight after the sun went down I was 36c full load and 27c idle.

If the vcore is still that low, you may have a lot of headroom yet. Keep pushing it. Don't forget Prime95 stress test when you're ready.

the best I could do at temperatures like that was 2650. Some more information might be helpful for advice giving

 

Mobo model,Ram volts & timings
