Overclockersdream Posted September 4, 2005 I'm unable to boot into windows as soon as i set the external clock to any numerical value above 240, windows will not boot up. I know its not the CPU Voltage. any suggestions. i would like to get this sucker to about 2.8 ghz.. Could it be the ram frequency.. Is there a way i can adjust the EXternal Clock but keeping the frequency of the memory at 400 mhz? If i need to upgrade the memory, what speed should i upgrade to. thanks occ. ill_industries Posted September 7, 2005 when you oc, you cant just crank the clock and leave everything else at stock make sure you up your FSB and voltages if you have some heave duty ram coolers, you might aswell go for upping the freq on em also
martymcfly Posted September 7, 2005 also, it looks like you should loosen RAM timings.
