JeepNPhreek Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 What exactly is a good benchmark score, and what is a bad benchmark score?
Destiny007 Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 3Dmark scores? Well, it really depends on your setup. i mean, good would be at least 10,000 3D marks (which with my 1.3 duron im just shy of <_< )
JeepNPhreek Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 Well, say i did it on my lap top, what woud be a good score? With a 16mb radeon card, 1.59 ghz processor, 256 ddr, so on and so on. What do u think a good score for that would be?
sykocus Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 once you run the benchmark you can upload it then compare it to other people's with similar vid cards, cpu, etc....and you must mean 3dmark2001 cus i don't think you'd be able to run 3dmark03 on that computer. beninfl Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 For today's games, 3DMark2001 is a better indicator than 3dMark03. The tope scores in '01 are around 22000, which is unbelievable. Though u probably can't run it, a good score for '03 is prob. over 2000.
sykocus Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 well a good benchmark will push the computer to its limits, as i'm sure 3dmark01 did when it first came out. my experiences with 3dmark03: it brought my computer to its knees.....then kicked it in the teeth
JeepNPhreek Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 Ok, well keep in mind that this thing is a lap top. My pc has a completely different setup. On a laptop system what would be good?
