Savan Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I dont know the diff, but I think the pro reads and wrights faster. Id gt the $85 sony
nvmyz28 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 If I am not mistaken, the PSP memory sticks have to be a "Duo" I would get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820191234
Savan Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 no its duo or pro duo, I have a pro duo and it works fine
caffeinejunkie Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Actually it's only pro duo While the duo looks like nothing more than an elongated pro duo it is also wider and will not fit in the psp without modification Even if you get it in it will still be hanging out a great deal and with that you risk breaking your memory card When it comes to brands I recommend the Sandisk over the Sony only because in proven tests on multiple game sites it shows that sandisk as being up to twice as fast with read/write
Savan Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 only 1 problem with what you said, the psp comes with a duo as the default mem stick, not the pro
Varry Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 duo is dual sided; 1gb is 512mb on one side and 512 on the other. A pro reads and writes faster.
danyo64 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 get the pro duo scandisk one.. the sony ones just seems like u would pay an extra 10 bucks to say that u have a sony memory stick... and scandisk is better anyways
