hardnrg Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 [ UPDATE-01: Release version instead of Debug version ] [ UPDATE-02: Added August 2005 update for DirectX runtime libraries ] ( ok the version of directx sdk i am using for the game makes use of features that are brand new in the august 2005 release so i have added an attachment for JUST the august part... so you'll need 9.0c to run this custom update for DirectX otherwise it won't update ) If anyone would be kind enough to test my awesome game and give me some feedback like: 1) does it run? 2) does it seem to work right? 3) anything seem odd? 4) any bizarre errors? it works fine on my system i'm going to test it on my axp system now (via Remote Desktop lol) but could do with some confirmation that it works... it should look like this when you are in the middle of the awesomeness: there should be an intro screen, the game, and an outro screen there should be a sound when the ball hits the paddle or a brick... afaik the requirements are: D3D Hardware support DirectX 9.0c (maybe just 9.0 something, maybe it has to be 9.0c) Soundcard? (maybe the sound can work on a pc speaker too?) erm... arg, well i gotta write a report all about it now, yay <_< so test away and let me know how truly AWESOME it is! Running the exe gives an error box that says: "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I have DX9c and as far as I know everything is up to date.
