Audigy 4 Pro And Logitech Z-5500 5.1

Hey ppl

I'm thinking of getting those two, but as far as I've heard, the digital output of audigy cards is not compatible with those speakers.

On the other hand, does the analog connection work? I suppose the PCI or the hub has the required plugs (1 left front/back, 1 right front/back και 1 center/sub) for 5.1 analog :)

im running the audigy 2 ZS analog with those speakers, (sounds great) works perfectly. about the digital, it will work fine, u just need to buy the cable, the speakers dont come with one, tho the card might? i got mine oem so i dont know for sure ;) ..as far as digital goes tho, its nothing special, the audigy will reproduce your audio just as good imo, one other thing is, you wont get EAX and some other software features since the speakers will being doing the sound decoding.

Thnx for the info :)

Well I know about the audigy2zs, creative was kind enough to have an image on its website with instructions on how to connect 5.1 speakers on it.

However, nothing on the audigy 4. And I haven't found a cleat picture of the audigy 4 pro pci and on the back of the hub there are only two outputs, left and right.
