If it's anything like my past aluminum experiences, sanding is the key. CM does a great job on their aluminum cases, so it's important to do your best to rough them up before you paint or else...disaster. Basically do what you'd do with a steel case, start out with larger grit, prime, sand with smaller grit, prime, smaller, prime. Then get a good sand on with the smallest grit you can find. Then a final primer coat, then at least 2 coats of paint. Then seal it, mine turned out very very well.

Krylon :) and it went all together as if it were brand new off the line. I think it's just the Krylon Indoor/outdoor. I'd get 2 cans each of Primer and Paint just to make sure it looks really nice and you don't run out..nothing is more disappointing.

I had an ugly beige case that I cleaned with Windex then just started laying on the paint. Took about 4 light coats. Looks amazing. Totally worth the $0 I spent on the cheap paint I found in my back alley.
