delamar Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I was just wondering if it was possible to use one of the 5 fan headers to control a case fan using the videocard temp as a reference. So if the video card gets got, it mobo turns the case fan up a bit. Sorta like what this mobo does for the CPU fan. The only reason im asking, is because my 2 6600gt's are passive cooled and i have a side case fan pointed at them, but its anoying to have to turn the case fan up and down all the time depending on what im doing. DECwakeboarder Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I would highly doubt it w/o an external temp sensor and fan controller for that matter.
delamar Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 But the computer has all the info it needs, as in GPU temp done by the video card, and 3 programable fan headers Its got to be possible.
