spazmire11 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 nope its actualy slower due to clockspeeds, just get a faster single core
evanin Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 it wont benefit games yet as there is no multi-threading games. I belive that is the word?

BionicSniper Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 lol yes someone needs to have bigred write something it then sticky it! also i predict that multi threaded games will come out next year so its up to you but i wish amd would hit intels price point for dual cores... cchalogamer Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 honestly If i was gonna buy dual core i would buy Intel *gasp* bc the things that see a dul core improvement are the things that intel is better at (video encoding, multitasking, etc) Now idk how the hell i would keep one cool, but it's what i would go for in dual core...assuming i could aford it....or much of anything right now.... fire_storm Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I got a dual core it works great video editing and games also I have noticed that it uses 1 core to fold and 1 core to play the game making more work get done in less time but if you were to get one know get a singal core. hardnrg Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 games will take advantage of dual core eventually, but don't expect it to happen on a grand-scale any time soon...
