Lyrical Exercise Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 They also where talking about some BS version of the card that sopose to have composite engine, where the Fudge do I find that card? Looking on newegg all it specifies is if its Crossfire or not does not mention nothing about composite engine. Also motherboards is a issue too only ones I see are 2 one is ecs (not going to touch even if my life depended on it) and the MSI wich is a miniATX mobo. sykocus Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 doesn't have a date, but just noticed this article with some pictures http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=24867
Kash Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 No use in looking for the Crossfire "master" card when there aren't even any good mobos out there, if any, with the ATi chipset that allows for Crossfire. It's like nVidia's chipset. SLi only works on nVidia chipsets (I'm about 90% sure about that). Hence, Crossfire will only work with ATi chipsets. So I'm guessing we still have a few months before Crossfire really hits the streets.
