slayer2cool Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 lol soon ppl will come in to bash up Tt but yeah just add $40 bucks more to get that kit you're better off with that swiftech kit though its not as plug and play at the Bigwater
GuJuMaN89 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 how hard would the swiftec be to install?
gunak87 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Not very hard at all. I pieced together a Swiftech kit and it was pretty straightforward. I didn't even have to remove my motherboard. You might, depending on what socket, though.
slayer2cool Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 aint much of a different so no worries mate. its just that its 1/2 inch tubings and that may be harder to bent around inside the pc.. but trust me its better than bigwater. GuJuMaN89 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 but could water cooling get temps around 15C ??
Guest Flashstar Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Most likely not. Temps are usually only as cold a room temperature.
GuJuMaN89 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 so what would i need to get temps like 15C?? without spending more than $
cchalogamer Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 to get temps that are most likely below your ambient (yeah go convert 15C to F and see why it prob wont be happeing for you with water) your gonna have to start looking at things like phasechange now if $200 is what you have nuy the swiftech kit and be happy (or build something out of random parts yourself, but you seem new to WC and unsure so that may not be such a good idea)
Nerm Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 You can get below 0*C with a petlier water cooled system. That swiftech kit would only go down to about 15*C if the ambient temp was down around 15*C. You have to remember that with air cooling and water cooling both they can both only perform as good as the ambient atmosphere it is in will let it.
