kanbeki Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I just recently switched from cable to dsl and I have my versalink running in bridge mode and all that happy crap but, I have no idea how to make windows create an active connection as I log in, clicking the icon everytime is pretty annoying, I know it can be done so how do you do it? megavyrus Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Well, let's see.. should i tell you or should i not tell you... I'll tell you for this time only. Go to Control Panel -> Network Connections. Right click on your connection and choose properties. Go to Options tab and CLEAR Prompt for name/pass. Assuming you have a shortcut to that connection on the desktop, copy that shortcut in the Startup folder. That should do it hopefully. A better alternative would be to get a router. kanbeki Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 it is a router, but I would rather have it in bridge than in router mode
