Where Should I Put The Probe At?

i used to put the probe (for temp)

under the cpu in the space between the pins

on my amd xp 2500+

but i now have a amd 64 939

and cant do that

where should i put it?

I put mine as close as possible to the processor without causing a gap between the Hs and the cpu.
