r_target Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 One trick is to move the PF to another drive/partition, then defrag the drive where the PF was. cybergrunt69 Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 yes, the pagefile is the virtual memory location. to clear it without moving it, try just setting it to a min and max size of 0 (zero) MB, then reboot, defrag, and set it back to 2gb. also, open the security policy editor (secpol.msc) and find the section to set it to clear the pagefile at every reboot.
