Etching My Acrylic Case

so I decided as a mod I am going to etch the side of my case... so I need design ideas

 

 

I need pictures/designs that are cool and not extremely intricate and also not any bigger than an 8.5x11 sheet of paper

This pic (taken from bit-tech forums) is really nice covers a whole side this guy said that all you have to do is draw (or copy)it to the side pannel and just take off the lines with the dremel (and a multitude of large and small bits loll)

Also suggest to try (practice) onto another piece till you've aquired a more steady hand

Also if you want to light it up like this guy did, the depth of the etch counts.

I know how to etch... I just need recomendations as to what to put on it

You just lightly sand the surface / clear finish. the fine scratches give it that whiteish look.

i dont think the guy will hunt you down for etching his piece of art onto ur PC case.....

 

Just put whatever you fancy, wat do you like? put that on there.

it's too complex I wouldn't be able to safely do it on my case with out mucking it up

what sorts of things do you like? try looking around the deviantArt website for some abstract designs.
