Ok, I Have Moving To Pci-e

i have about $550, and im thinking about moving over to PCI-E. Does this look like a good combo?

I would get a Leadtek 6800 GT instead of the XL. With that huge copper HS you can take it to ultra speeds easy.

 

edit* never mind about that GT you will probably get the same performence out of that XL as you would with an overclocked GT since you have a 3000+. Are you going to overclock that venice chip?

I'd get a GeForce 2 MX 440, it would only be like 20 bucks. Then you could really spend money on some cooling to overclock that baby to 6800 Ultra-like performance! :)

I've got an XFX 6800, and it's been overclocked easily and stably to GT quality.

I would go for the HIS x800XL 256mb. It has a cooler looking HSF. :lol:

 

Good choice, I am moivng to pci-e asap aswell.

 

There is no dark side in pc hardware... ( Except VIA chipsets... )
