oralpain Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 (edited) Two 1GB dimms will be faster than four 512MB dimms. With four dimms you have to run T2 command rate, wich is even more of a hit than going from 2-2-2 to 3-4-4 at T1 command rate. Defiantly get the 2x1GB. Vampire Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Yup, 4 ram sticks usually is harder to overclock aswell, not to mention draws more power. 2 x 1GB all the way.

Verran Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 2 sticks is better than four, especially for OCing. Less points of failure.
