Verran Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 thats pretty cool. little confused by the woman who said it could sound like a 12-string. thats impossible, it has six strings. 486173[/snapback] It's digital. It doesn't have magnetic pickups. It's got a built in signal processor. How is ANY sound not possible? I have a Line6 amp and I have to say it's really cool. The only downside is that sometimes all the amp emulation and speaker cab emulation can be too confusing. I'm so picky that I have to try all 36 amp modes and 12ish cab emulations to make sure I'm getting the "exact" sound I want. Then I start playing with the normal knobs like bass/treble/drive. Every once in a while I wish I could just plug in to a Mesa Nomad and just turn it on and start rockin!

airman Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 (edited) make sure you get the variax 2....the first one had to use medium guage strings...but the new(er) one uses light guage strings = good lead playability. =D edit: yay another gray star!! ^__^ Edited June 5, 2005 by airman
