Propane Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Well, they both have the beefed up engine. I want to do some modding and whatnot so, for you people that are way into cars, I was looking for your opinion. Please dont say "neither" because these are the two I am looking at for the time being. BMW info vs www.mazda.com
InvaderTrax Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Gah, and I wanted to say "neither" too. I'd vote for the Mazda. I raced a 325i in my mom's '99 Accord and we were tied the whole way (2.3L@ 150hp)
tbone2sk Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I would get a mazda 3, why because I have one. I have a 5door 160hp, 2.3L stock at the moment. I love the car, it looks good and is fast for the price. I'm going to getting a catback exhast and then a turbo kit for it. When done I will be running over 300hp, which becuase the car is so light you get tire spin all the way though 1st and some of 2rd. After just the turbo kit the 3 can run a 13.8 1/4 mile. If you read reviews on the mazda3 it is rated best best small car, by many people and mags. If you have any questions just ask. Nerm Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 dang and I wanted to vote "neither" lol.......between the two I would choose the bmw. tbone, you can only burnout through 1st and some of 2nd? My S-10 all stock would burnout all the way through 3rd and bark 4th.
Bleeble Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Well, I like BMWs, but 94 is going to be considered "old" soon. Unfortunately, buying a new car is a complete rip off. You get completely jacked for prices. Maybe buy a car a year or two old for half the money? My vote goes to the Mini Cooper S. @Nerm: S-10? Are you talking about a pickup? Nerm Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 lol @ Bleeble! Yes, I am talking about a pickup.
