First Crossfire Bench I've Seen...

the one problem with the ATI chipsets is this, zero overclocking, at least as far as the BIOS is concerned, now ATI might block overclocking in OS somehow too, Im not sure.

I get like 5200 with my X800 Pro and my 3000+, I just found it wierd that they where using 2 X850XT's with a 4000+, and they were only geting like 4000 Points more that what I got, but I think i'm the crazy one here lol, because 10.6k is pretty freakin' good. Imagine if they'd overclock..

My x800xt @ 525/561 and 3400+ @ 2.48ghz only scores 6,081 in 3dmark05.

wow, at first i thought that was 03 but 10k in 05! I can only dream of scores that high  Nvidias going to have a tough time against crossfire, in sli two 6800s run really hot and suck a humongous amount of power. Not to mention that Nvidia has to make a new driver for each and every single game for sli. In comparison the x800s don't use as much power and run cooler espicially the PEs. Go Ati!!!!

Macci just broke the 05 record with two x850xt's in Crossfire. First ever to reach 15k in 05 and he got a score of 15,498. Here we were talking about it and RadioActivated isn't impressed initially lol. Impressed now? hahahahaha..... :P

EDIT: oops forgot the link.

i think 3dmark needs to be SET on its settings to where u cant change it... and if u could, it wouldnt count the score... both the SLI and the crossfire turned off AA.. anyone can do that!..

i wonder how itd stand up against 2 of these:

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2005/05/31/gi...te_dual_6800gt/

too bad those are only GT's and not Ultra's... :(

2 of those cards in sli would be 4 GPUs thats insane!

just one of these scored over 20,000 3dmark03

EDIT: wait it doesnt look like it has an SLi connector?
